Bennington's New 2275RLI

- October 2007 The 2275RLI is now being offered with an unprecedented list of standard features for 2008.

Bennington pontoon boats are known for their comfort, solid engineering and exceptional customer satisfaction. The long list of standard features for the 22- foot 2275RLI has been made even longer to attract new Bennington buyers. Standard features now include a mahogany table, an adjustable height pedestal for the captain's chair, a Rockford® CD player with ports for your iPod, soft, 28oz carpeting, a color-matched canvas changing room, a playpen cover, a polished aluminum docking light with LED illumination, corner castings and various aesthetic features including a chrome logo, a laser cut Bennington logo on the threshold, and more.

The fit and finish is excellent on this 22-foot Bennington. The seats are made with multi-density foam upholstered with butter-soft premium vinyl. Bennington uses H-36 hardness aluminum in their pontoons, with a claimed breaking strength of over 44,000 lbs per square inch. Most competitors use H-32 that has less strength at the same weight. The pontoons are designed with multiple, separate chambers, each of which has a valve for pressure-testing.

A V-shaped keel is welded down the full length of each pontoon to protect the pontoons in the shallows and improve tracking at cruising speed.

A new three-pontoon option called the Elliptical Sport Package is also available for the 2275RLI. The center pontoon is an elliptical tube with a 32" width. The increased displacement of three pontoons accommodates larger engines and more passengers. The elliptical boat is said to heel slightly in sharp turns, instead of turning flat. This provides a more balanced ride.

Above and beyond the standard features, there are many options to customize the 2275RLI. For example, one might choose the half-camper cover or the live well and Garmin® GPS fishing options.
