Hi I'm Greg with Bennington Marine today we're going to walk you through the optional anchor storage system. Aan available option on all tri-toons, the anchor storage system is a great addition to your boat our storage locker was designed around the premier plow style anchor which is great for holding boats and Sandy Bottoms and also weedy bottoms.
Today we're using a Rocna 4 anchor for this boat it's got the SPS package if we're going to go up to a bigger horsepower or bigger boat we'd probably have the elliptical sport package then we'd use the Rocna 6. You can talk to your local dealer about choosing the best anchor for your boat and Lake conditions.
I really like the gas shock that holds this lid open for you while you're accessing this area, you're also going to notice the cleat in here. You want to make sure you tie off the other end of your anchor line before you throw your anchor into the water trust me.
Now we're going to simply lift up on the stainless little chalk on the bow of the boat, put our anchor line through it and that's going to keep it centered on the boat. I've gathered some line I'm just going to throw the anchor out into the water now that we deployed our anchor.
We're just going to simply take our rope tighten up the tension on that to where we want it to be secure, take your lid, shut it just put your line in that groove to help keep it centered. When you're all done just reverse the process, that way the anchor will be out of your way and ready for the next stop. For more boating tips visit us at benningtonmarine.com.
